1/5 for a professional, 3/5 for a casual player, 5/5 for a beginner.,
Firstly, go [...] there for many reviews.
This amp is a good amp, depending on who you are. If you are a professional or a great player, ignore this amp. Buy a tube amp or something.
If you are a casual player, it will certainly ‘work’ but you will probably be desiring more. I have had it for 2 years and I have grown out of it.
As a beginner, this amp is perfect. It has enough tone controls for you to experiment, and a headphone jack can make sure you dont distrub your neighbors. The drive button is a little pointless once you start to figure things out, but its fun to play with as a beginner.
So if you are a beginner and this fits your price range, I would recommend it. Its a very good at-home amp, but it isn’t quite loud enough for playing with friends. You can play loud enough to hear your guitar well at ‘home practice’ levels.

|Good product for the price and size.,
This Amp is good for a beginner. Bought it for my son, he likes it.
If you want to use the AUX IN to connect an ipod or mp3 player must connect using a volume dimmer (available at Radioshack for $8)

|Okay,
I’m a beginner and it seems to work okay for me. I don’t use the speaker really with my neighbors, so it sounds good with my nice studio headphones. I’d like to get something better in the future when I’m a bit more experienced. I like the shiny stuff they put on the speaker.
