Gibson Guitar Player

Squier by Fender MINI, Torino Red

Squier by Fender MINI, Torino Red

  • Laminated hardwood body with gloss polyurethane finish
  • Maple neck with 9.5 in radius rosewood fingerboard with 20 medium frets
  • 3 Single-Coil Pickups
  • Hard-tail 6-Saddle Bridge
  • Master volume and master tone controls with 5 position selector switch

The Squier Mini guitar is the 3/4-size version (22.75″ scale length) of the Squier Bullet® guitar, and makes an ideal travel guitar for players of all ages or first guitar for kids. This is not a toy, though! Three single-coil pickups, a fixed non-tremolo hardtail bridge and five-way switching make the Mini sound as cool as it looks.

We bought this for our 8 year old daughter over a year ago. It is well made, with a rosewood fretboard, and a hardtail bridge. The instrument was the perfect size for her. It has a good strong tone and consistent notes from low to high strings. The saddle is solid and the strings stay in tune well. I did a lot of research into this and after a year of playing it, am still convinced that this is the best instrument for a child, or anyone with smaller hands, to learn on.
